Here is a very nice selection of display models brought by the modelers who attended the 2008 Convention. These always draw much interest and hopefully this can grow into a much bigger part of the activities in the future.

Only because the DSP&P temporarily shared track with the D&RG did we allow this Nn3 Consolidation by Steve Schweighofer to join the fun. And there you have the two extremes in narrow gauge modeling!

Dan Abbott displayed a group of 3 different versions of C&S Cabeese. That is plural for Caboose isn’t it? Nice models in HOn3.

Dan Windolph likes scratch building passenger cars in On3. This combination car is built with brass and wood components. |
Dan does have other On3 engines besides Shays, but again this year displayed a different engine. Actually runs on the Argentine Central section of his layout. |
Highly detailed underside on this DSP&P gondola by Duncan Harvey in HOn3. Display stand featured a mirror to see the underside detail. Unfortunately, this shot didn’t show that feature.
